It's been a long time since we welcomed customers to our beautiful physical store in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. After what seems like forever, our doors were finally opened to welcome our regular and new customers to Roobarb in the middle of April 2021.
Lockdown has been possibly the most stressful time for us all, along with possibly every business across the world. We have now been open up for business for over a month and despite an upward trend in the UK for the virus, customers seem to want to come out to shop. Thankfully.
We have our fingers firmly crossed that we can finally kick this virus into touch and get back to the 'new normal'. But will we ever get back to normal?
We at Roobarb are very grateful to the UK government for their financial help that they gave to retail, without it we as a retail operation probably wouldn't have survived.
We were the lucky ones; many of our contemporaries folded during the lockdown as they didn't receive anything.
As we enter our second full month open and operational and the country is trying to get back to where we once were; we need to push even harder for people to come out and use their hard earned cash in their local high street and keep us all buoyant.
